Additions to the Web Site

During the summer the Plett Foundation website has undergone some changes. The back issues of Preservings have now been moved from their former location on the Hanover Historical Society website to the Plett Foundation site. The index to the first thirteen issues was prepared earlier by Linda Buhler and has been placed on the site as a separate file. This index and the issues beginning with volume nine are searchable using electronic text searching tools. The online books are currently being prepared for uploading as well.

The Manitoba Mennonite Historical Society is organizing an East Reserve Historical Committee, which will be taking over much of the work formerly done by the Hanover Society. In discussions between the Hanover Historical Society, the Flemish Historical Society, the Manitoba Mennonite Historical Society, and the Plett Foundation it was decided that the Foundation, as the current publisher, should also be the custodian of the back issues of Preservings.
