The November biannual meeting of the Plett Foundation Board was held in Taber, Alberta. Taber is home to many Mennonites with origins in Mexico, Belize and Bolivia. There are active Old Colony and Reinlaender Churches in the area. In addition to the Board Meetings, members toured the Chamberlain School in Grassy Lake and met with local public school school officials. One evening was also spent visiting with local people from the Reinlaender Church in the area.
