Plett Foundation Grant Supports Mennonite History Conference

A grant from the Plett Foundation will help to support an upcoming history conference hosted by the Chair in Mennonite Studies at the University of Winnipeg.  “Mennonites, Medicine and the Body: Health, Illness and Medical Research in the Past and Present” will take place on October 23 and 24, 2015.  Five sessions in this conference will focus in particular on conservative Mennonites linked to those who arrived in Manitoba in the 1870s.  All conference sessions will take place in Convocation Hall, 2nd floor Wesley Hall, at the University of Winnipeg.  Admission is free, register on-site.
